Distance Learning with Oxbridge: How Does it Work?

How do I choose a course?

Well, that all depends on what you’re trying to achieve. We offer over 250 courses in a range of subject areas, so there’s a lot for you to explore! We assume you’ve already landed here with an interest in a certain topic and a goal in mind – maybe you want to further your career, or you’d like to start a completely different path. Perhaps you just want to find a new hobby or sense of purpose through learning. Whatever your goal, we offer accredited and recognised qualifications to get you there.

Can you help me decide?

Maybe you’re not sure which level to start at, or you don’t understand what type of qualification you need for a certain job role. Or, perhaps you want to start your own business and need to know what steps to take to get there. Our amazing learning advisers are here to provide all the information you need and help you with your all-important decision. They’ll listen to your goals, ask you some questions about your academic background and help you find a course that’s suited to you.

Get in touch by phone, speak to us on live chat or submit an enquiry – we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible!

Some of our popular courses include:

A-level Courses

Psychology Courses

Can I study online?

All of our students get access to our award-winning online portal, MyOxbridge, and eligible courses will have the option to receive a full-colour printed copy of their course materials in the post. If you’d prefer to study in a paper-based format, all the course materials will be sent to you via DPD and arrive within around 14 days. Feel free to make notes and scribble all over them; they’re yours to keep.

You’ll get your login details to our online learning platform within 48 hours of enrolling. Our online courses are designed to provide a dynamic and engaging experience, from videos to e-books and online quizzes.

How do I enroll?

We want to make the enrolment process as easy as possible. Simply add your chosen course to the basket, complete our quick and easy online checkout process, and we’ll do the rest. If you’d rather enrol over the phone, that’s fine too!

“Do I have to pay all in one go?”

Unlike other distance learning providers, we don’t charge you extra interest if you choose to pay in monthly instalments. You can simply pay a minimum deposit of 10% towards your course at the time of enrolment, and then spread the rest of the payments over 6, 9 or 12 months – completely interest-free. To secure this you will need to pass a light credit check, but it won’t affect your credit score.

What happens next?

You’ve taken a big step towards achieving your goals, now it’s our turn to get the ball rolling. Once you receive your login details or your course materials, get yourself comfortable, and spend some time getting familiar with your reading material.

You’ll find a welcome letter in your email/course pack that will give you the name of your personal tutor and detail how to contact them. Alongside this will be your study guide; please read through this carefully as it provides all you need to know about distance learning with Oxbridge.

Do I have to start studying right away?

You have between 12-18 months to complete your course depending on what you’re studying, so there’s no pressure to write and submit all your assignments at once. Although, some students can’t wait to get started so they can finish their course quickly, which is great if you have a deadline such as a university or a job opportunity.

This is why distance learning is so popular – it works around your current commitments and helps you achieve your goals in a convenient timescale for you.
