New improvements to the Item Search API
We’ve made some enhancements to the Item Search API backend, which means you’ll get better, targeted results when searching for products in the Marketplace, via the API, or with rules. For example, when type in “health and beauty” as a product search term, you’ll only see product results that are explicitly categorized as “health and beauty.” (If you searched “health and beauty” before this update, you would have seen results that partially contain references or synonyms to the search term.) The great news is that you don’t have to change anything to benefit from these improvements–happy searching!
Messaging — Now message with prospective brands
We introduced messaging last half, making it easier to engage with your existing brand partners. With this release, we’ve expanded our in-app messaging capabilities to prospective brands! Now you can start conversations with brands you have a pending application with, helping you more easily get the information you need to make decisions and form new relationships faster.
